We will work with you to develop an estimate customized for your project -
no matter where you are in the design process. From the preliminary design
stage (even if it is scrawled on a napkin), to construction
documents, we can help you.
Preliminary Budget Estimate
The perfect vehicle for when you are just starting the design
process, a Preliminary Budget Estimate is based upon any available
information. Information used for this estimate may be gathered from site
visits, interviews with User Groups; Architects, Engineers, Facility
Managers, initial drawings, and historical cost data. Our team of
estimators delves into our many collective years of experience to give our
clients the numbers they need to move forward.
Schematic Design Estimate
Based upon the schematic documents we will prepare an estimate
utilizing measurements and pricing of parametric quantities. Take off can
be done from printed drawings or from electronic documents using On Screen
Take Off. The estimate will be
prepared in systems or CSI format. It can be used as verification of the
established budget and to identify areas that need adjustment to satisfy
budgetary requirements.
Design Development Cost Estimate
Based upon the completed design development drawings and outline
specifications The Logan Company's team of experienced estimators
will prepare your estimate. Whenever possible, your customized estimate
will be based upon detailed measurement pricing. It will also include
provisions for reasonable allowances for the remainder of the work. Take
off can be done from printed drawings or from electronic documents using On
Screen Take Off. Your estimate will
be available in either systems or CSI format to allow comparison with
previous estimates and the established budget.
Construction Documents Cost Estimate
Based upon the working drawings and final specifications at the 100%
completion stage The Logan Company will prepare a final estimate.
This estimate will be based on the measurement and pricing of quantities.
The estimate can include detailed information on irregularities or areas of
concern that would hinder the construction process. Your estimate will be
prepared in trade (CSI) format for comparison with, and evaluation of, the
bids received. This will also enable a comparison with previous estimates
and with the established budget.
